Niagara Frontier Golf Club 5K

Please join us on Sunday July 12, 2020 for inaugural Niagara Frontier Golf Club 5K! This unique 5K race will be held at the beautiful Niagara Frontier Golf Course in Youngstown, New York.

START/FINISH
Race organizers have come up with a beautiful and scenic 5K COURSE. Please read and follow the following SAFETY TIPS that will also me emailed to all participants the night before the race and paper copies will also be provided at check-in. The start line will be located on the parking lot roadway and the finish line will be located on one of the main cart paths on the back side of the clubhouse. Runners will choose from one of three waves being offered. You must arrive during the designated times (see below) and you cannot change waves on race day. We will start runners individually and they will run individually from start to finish to allow for social distancing on the course. We will only be checking in runners during their designated time slot (see below).

Wave #1 50 maximum participants (SOLD OUT)
5pm - 6pm Check-in
6pm - 6:50pm Wave 1 Runners will be started individually (fastest runners first)

Wave #2 50 maximum participants (SOLD OUT)
6pm - 7pm Check in
7pm - 7:50pm Wave 2 Runners will be started individually (fastest runners first)

Wave #3 50 maximum participants
7pm - 8pm Check in
8pm - 8:50pm Wave 3 Runners will be started individually (fastest runners first)

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open until Saturday July 11th at 6pm. Packet pickup will take place outside the Pro Shop starting at 5:00pm for wave 1 participants. Please follow the schedule above to ensure a smooth flow on race day. Official race shirts guaranteed to all participants who register by the morning of 7/6/20. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.

$25 through 6/30/20
$30 7/1/20 through 7/11 at 6pm or until sold out

POST RACE CELEBRATION

Participants will be asked to bring their own lawn chair if they plan on sticking around after the race. You must wear a mask before and after the race and/or maintain proper social distancing (6' minimum) at all times. The post race celebration will include snacks, cash bar, music, and the announcement of top overall finishers (male & female).

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking in the main parking lot.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
There will be no official awards ceremony for this race to avoid a large gathering of people. We will announce the top overall male and female runners and custom certificates that show overall place and age group ranking can be downloaded and printed from home after the race.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
